In 1895 Jesse Walter Fewkes conducted an expedition to Arizona where he accumulated a fine collection of pueblo pottery for the National Museum. His report, Archeological Expedition to Arizona in 1895, included these beautiful drawings by F.W. Hodge, his assistant on this important archeological expedition. This lovely group of heliotype prints includes vases with bird and feather designs from Sikyatki, as well as several other geometric designs.
