This terrific atlas is complete with 46 single-page, and 40 double-page finely engraved, colorful maps. All double-page maps are printed on two sheets. The majority of the maps are of U.S. interest including all the states and territories. The atlas is thoroughly illustrated with numerous wood engraved views interspersed throughout the text. There is a 9-page section devoted to the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago that includes a railroad map, a map of the grounds, and views and descriptions of the architecture on display at the fair. Decorative title page, contents, text and maps, 192 pp. Hardbound in original brown cloth with decorative gilt title on front.

Condition: A
Maps are fine. Covers have some light shelf wear and the front cover is starting. The spine has a small amount of loss at the extremities. The binding is tight.
