Both of these important references are limited edition reprints by Martino Publishing. The first is Carl I. Wheat's classic reference and carto-bibliography on Gold Rush maps. Originally published in 1942 by the Grabhorn Press, this reprint is limited to 350 copies. The second was published in a limited number of only 300 copies. The title continues "from the Spanish Discovery in 1769 to the American Occupation." It was written by Neal Harlow and was originally published by the Book Club of California in 1950.
