Handsome, small map of the West Indies and the Gulf of Mexico showing an oddly shaped Florida peninsula. The decorative title cartouche features a scene of the trade goods of the region. The maps from Thomas Salmon's New Geographical and Historical Grammar were drawn Thomas Jefferys.

Paper has been added to the top margin to better accommodate framing. A small hole near St. Kitts has been infilled and is only noticeable on verso, although the type of paper used is modern.
