This handsome, boldly engraved map of the Muese River valley includes Namur and Liege, with north oriented to the left. Exquisitely engraved, it has an elaborate cartouche and scale of miles and numerous forests throughout. Engraved by Baptista van Doeticum. French text on verso.

References:

Condition: B+

Lightly toned with a velvety impression on a sheet with some repair on the lower centerfold border. The margins have a few short tears and a couple of paper repairs, not affecting the map.
