Charming small map of the Mediterranean coast of Africa, home to the infamous Barbary pirates. The top map shows the entire coast and much of the Mediterranean. The map in the lower right features the delta of the Nile River and shows settlements and other details including the pyramids. The map in the lower left illustrates what is present-day Tunisia with the ancient city and fort of Carthage. French text on verso.
