This thematic map is from the railroad explorations of Isaac Stevens along the 36th parallel. It shows the northern half of the United States and Canada up to Hudson's Bay from coast to coast. The map is in black and white, with isothermal lines overprinted in red and blue. The lines give the mean temperature, red for summer and blue for winter.

Nice printed color and impression with original margins. Issued folding, now pressed and with some toning along two fold lines, otherwise very good.
