An uncommon map for which we find only one past sale. The map shows the United States to include all of the Independent Republic of Texas. The watershed predominates, but the map also includes major or important towns and details the wagon road from St. Louis to Arkansas, Baltimore to Montgomery Alabama and others. Other than Texas the regions west of the Mississippi are unnamed. The large North West Territory occupies much of today's Wisconsin and Minnesota. Lead and "Potosi" mines are located south of St. Louis.
