County development extends to cover all but the western quarter of the state. Good detail of the expansive railway system with two tracks (Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe, and Kansas Pacific railroads) traversing the state. The majority of lines are in the eastern region. Each county is fully hand colored and the county seat named. The map includes good detail of towns, forts and watershed. It extends to show part of Indian Territory, locating the lands of the Shawnees, Quapaws, Senecas and Shawnees. Blank version.

Very good impression and fine original hand coloring. A few spots and toning at centerfold.
