This seldom seen chart details the Mississippi River Delta as the river empties into the Gulf of Mexico. The channel and sounds are illustrated. The huge volume of trees and other debris is shown via icons. Rhumblines with fleur-de-lys and rococo-style title cartouche embellish the chart.

Condition: A

Very nice example with strong impression on a full sheet with very wide margins. Map image is fine. Some marginal edge toning and a small amount of paper missing from upper right tip.
