A striking regional map of central Germany, centered roughly on Marburg and including a significant portion of the Rhine River. The decorative title cartouche is composed of the coats of arms of the principal towns on the map. In the secondary cartouche putti adorn two mileage scales.

Original coloring. There is a repaired tear in the lower left corner of the map, extending into the map about 2".
