Large and uncommon Italian map of the continent of Africa. The map honestly portrays the current knowledge of the continent's geography with large areas left completely blank. The map gives fine detail, where known, of the topography, rivers, lakes, and deserts, and locates numerous African tribes.

References:

Condition: B+

Issued folded, now flattened. Trimmed to neatline at lower right for binding and there is a binding tear entering the map border, repaired with archival tape.
