This encyclopedia was edited and published by Ellis Davis from Berkeley California. All maps are by George Cram. Beautiful, large folding maps printed on thin bank note quality paper feature California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona. The maps which follow are of each state and territory, a full U.S. Atlas. The last maps are tipped in, including double page maps of California, Oregon, and Washington, in the earlier fashion, remarkable for this late date. The majority of articles are on various towns and cities of the West and is filled with photographs of period buildings, train stations and railroads, and more. Hard bound in brown cloth, 196pp, maps and photographs.
