Beautifully engraved with a remarkable amount of detail throughout the island including topography in hachure. It extends from Queen Charlotte Sound down the island to the San Juan Archipelago. There is good detail on the mainland north to Mt. Everard and to Pemberton in the east. Noting scores of coastal place names, the map locates Victoria but there is no sign of Vancouver.
