A fine title page in the classic architectural style of the Renaissance. The title is flanked by two pillars capped by pediments supporting the multiple-quartered coat of arms of Spain. At sides are the allegorical female representations of the four continents. The Dutch title and imprint are pasted onto the engraved architectural framework, as was customary with title pages.

Very clean for a title page with only a small damp stain at bottom edge, well away from the image.
