Detailed plan names all streets and several important buildings. Elaborate, fully colored coat-of-arms fill the upper corners. At left is the arms of Stephen Theodore Janssen Esqr, and at right the arms of William Alexander Esqr., the aldermen for these wards. Nice elevations of two churches, Parish Church of St. Midlred in Bread Street and the Parish Church of St. Matthews in Friday Street flank the fine rococo-style title cartouche. Compass rose with fleur-de-lys lies to the left. Engraved by Cole.

Condition: B+

The image is very good with strong impression and fine color. The margins are a little soiled, close trimmed at bottom (perhaps as issued), rough edges at right, a small piece of paper missing from lower left margin not affecting image. Despite the marginal flaws the map is handsome and shows well.
