Handsome map of the region surrounding the city of Namur based on the once secret map of Jacques Surhon (1555). The bold decorations include a title cartouche featuring a coat of arms and four putti, an unusual compass with a costumed surveyor, and a large scale of miles cartouche. A sharp example which shows well.
