This is a promotional pocket map that was given "Compliments of the Estey Organ Piano Co." especially for the Christian Endeavor Convention (an organization that is still active today). The detailed map is centered on the meeting area for the convention on the lawn of the White House (here listed as the Executive Mansion). Concentric circles 1/2 mile apart radiate from the White House. An extensive index organized by category keys to 266 churches, hotels, foreign embassies, public buildings, hospitals, monuments, etc. The list is duplicated in alphabetical order on the otherwise blank verso. In the northwest portion of the map, President Cleveland's "country home" is noted as well as the Naval Observatory. It folds into advertising covers (3 x 5.3").
