This terrific item features Colton's atlas map in pocket map form. Lovely 19th century map of the Upper Peninsula depicting the counties and completed surveys. The first edition atlas map is dated 1855, but we can find no differences between this map and its atlas cousin. Surrounded in Colton's distinctive scroll border. Folds into black boards (3.5 x 5") with gilt titling. Front pastedown with original paper listing some of Colton's offerings.

Condition: B+
The map has a little toning along folds mostly in upper margin. Also some paste stains where glued into cover. The covers are mint.
