This handsome pair of maps covers the southern United States, Mexico, and Central America. Partie Occidental covers California, the Southwest U.S. and Mexico, and Partie Orientale covers the Gulf of Mexico and Central America. Both provide excellent detail, particularly of the Jesuit missions in Mexico and the Southwest, and of the numerous Indian tribes.
