A superbly decorative map of Flintshire, with inset plans of the city of Flint and St. Asaph, and an elevation of St. Winifred's Well (Holywell). The map is richly embellished with a compass rose, ships and sea monsters in the Irish Sea, in addition to the large strapwork cartouches, coat of arms and inset plans that distinguish Speed's county maps. This is a re-issue of Speed's plate with some minor revisions, published by Henry Overton.
