This delightful miniature map of the important Greek island of Corfu is decorated with a strapwork title cartouche and a tiny sailing ship. The maps of this rival to Ortelius' pocket atlas were engraved by two of the finest Flemish engravers: brothers-in-law Jodocus Hondius and Pieter van den Keere. This map doesn't have an engraver's signature. Dutch text on verso.

Margins soiled with paper loss in the lower right margin.
