This handsome map of the historic Moravia region of the Czech Republic is based on the map by the Moravian bishop, Johann Amos Comenius. It is finely engraved with mountains, forests and even the smallest villages, and includes the cities of Olomouc (Olmitz), Jihlava (Iglaw), and the region surrounding present day Brno. Decorated with a title cartouche with cherubs displaying the coat of arms and two other strapwork cartouches for the key and scale. Spanish text on verso.
