This is a very detailed map of the border region between Italy and Switzerland in the vicinity of Lake Como and Lake Maggiore. The topography of the Alps is graphically presented on the map and details include fortified cities, roads, castles and the sources of major rivers including the Rhine.

Lightly toned with slightly faded original color. There is a 1" separation on the bottom fold and some tears and holes in the blank margins.
