This scarce map is a reduced version of Visscher's depiction of the flight from Egypt and the wandering in the desert. Insets at the bottom illustrate the encampment of the Children of Israel, and several Biblical artifacts. A convoy of ships bringing cedar for the building of Solomon's Temple and Jonah and the whale are pictured in the Mediterranean Sea. This is from the only Dutch Bible published by Samuel Schoonwald.
