Petrus Kaerius engraved this early miniature map of southern India and Ceylon. Narsinga, referred to as the Kingdom of Bisnaga by the Portuguese, was the Hindu Vijayanagara Empire that controlled southern India. This is the scarce first state without degrees of latitude in the borders. Dutch text on verso.
