This is the more decorative version of this wonderful map of Cuba. It also includes the tip of Florida, part of Hispaniola and a few of the Bahamas. The large scale of miles is surmounted by two cherubs holding a portrait of Christopher Columbus. This is the rare, second state with the map enclosed in a superb picture frame-style border with incredible 3-dimensional quality. The maps from La Galerie Agreable du Monde are rarely seen on the market, as only 100 copies of the 66 volumes of this incredible atlas were produced.
