This is a very handsome and detailed chart of the northern regions of Asia reflecting the recent discoveries in Kamchatka by Witsen with the icy cape Kaap Suetoinos, which was believed to render it impossible to sail round the north-eastern tip of Asia. Compagnie Land is shown off the southern coast of Kamchatka. Locates Peking and delineates part of the Great Wall. Title in block style and a small compass rose decorates the chart.
