This scarce pamphlet promotes summering in the Midwest rather than at "old-fashioned" resorts like Saratoga, Newport, Cape May or in Virginia. The three maps are "Map of the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Ry"; "Outline Map of Waukesha County Wisconsin"; and "Bird's eye view of the Upper Mississippi River between La Crosse and Minneapolis." With numerous wood engravings showing the hotels and resorts, plus numerous tourist sites and activities. Pictorial cover features a woman reading in a hammock, the rear cover shows leisure activities and asks the question "Where to Go, How to go, How much will it cost." Published from Milwaukee and printed by King, Lawton & Fowle. The attractive cover was printed by the Milwaukee Litho. & Engr. Co. OCLC locates only four copies.
