Well engraved and graphic map of Havana harbor and the fortified town with surrounding area. Depicts many warships, buildings and land-based fortifications, each identified by lettered key. Locates the camps of Generals Howes and Elliot. At upper left the second title is "A Plan of the Siege of the Havana Drawn by an Officer. 15th August 1762." Compass rose with fleur-de-lys. Title as given above is in rococo-style cartouche. Distance scale is in British Miles. Blank verso. There are several similar maps, this being the most uncommon. Originally published in the July 1762 issue of the Gentleman's & London Magazine.
