This lot of engravings feature towns, churches, palaces, colleges, manor houses, and antiquities in Great Britain. The plates are often referred to as miniature Kips because they are similar in style to the large engravings by Johannes Kip. They were produced by the prolific Dutch engraver and publisher Pieter van der Aa with text by his fellow Dutchman, James Beeverell. Included are two great views of Westminster.
