This is an uncommon map from a scarce annual publication. The map describes the European theater of the Seven Years War and extends through Germany to show all of Switzerland, northern Italy and Hungary. This major military conflict ended in 1763 and much of the Annual Register for that year was concerned with the war that involved all of the major European powers of the period.
