An early map that includes portions of present-day Latvia and Lithuania, in addition to Crimea and the Sea of Azov. Riga and Vilnius are both named, and the map is filled with pictorial representations of topography as well as small tents to represent Tartar camps. Italian text on verso with large historated P.

Fine, dark impression and full margins. Two tiny worm holes in lower margin professionally filled. "N" in Nuova in title with some lightness.
