This miniature map of northern Italy is oriented with north to the right. It is centered roughly on Milan and Lake Como and shows the Po River system quite well. Engraved by Petrus Kaerius, who engraved the majority of the maps of the Caert-thresoor (Map Treasury). This is the scarce first state without degrees of latitude in the borders. Dutch text on verso.

Condition: B

There is some soil, darker in the blank margins. The top margin has been professionally extended to better accommodate framing.
