This copper engraving features 13 different globes, armillary spheres and planetary systems with their theories described. Includes the planetary systems of Copernicus, Ptolemy, views of the moon and sun plus views that explain the phases of the moon, and eclipses of the moon and the sun. The imaginative view of the sun includes mountains, volcanoes, and a large sea.
