Attractive map of the island with north oriented to the left. The map provides detailed information of the mountainous country. The legendary Adams Brug (Adam's Bridge or Rama's Bridge) is clearly shown linking Mannar island off Sri Lanka with Rameswaram island of the coast of India. A small compass rose and title in block style cartouche make a handsome composition.
