Boldly engraved map of Indonesia that includes the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Java, Borneo and part of Cambodia. The islands are very detailed and have many place names noted, including Bali and part of Sumbawa, but Singapore is not mentioned. The lower portion of the map is a decorative cartouche showing Neptune, the Roman equivalent of the Greek Poseidon. Also with a female figure with a trident who is most likely Amphitrite, wife of Neptune.
