This spectacular 19th century map is decorated by a large coastal panorama across the top and elaborate scenes including a horseman across the bottom. Legend is capped with the roof of a mosque and the crescent moon. Panel at left of statistics for the region. Along with Levasseur and Tallis this is one of the last decorative maps produced.
