This spectacular 19th century map is decorated by a large coastal panorama across the top and elaborate scenes including a horseman across the bottom. Legend is capped with the roof of a mosque and the crescent moon. Panel at left of statistics for the region. Along with Levasseur and Tallis this is one of the last decorative maps produced. Drawn by A. Vuillemin.
