Strongly engraved chart of ancient Egypt with prominent mountain ranges on both sides of the Nile. Numerous ancient places are located including many old forts and trade routes. The pictorial cartouche shows the Nile originating from a spring.

References:

Condition: A

Crisp impression, original color and wide margins. There is a short tear in the lower blank margin, well away from the map. There is a Roman numeral date, written in manuscript brown ink in the right side margin.
