This promotional map was given "Compliments of the Chase National Bank NY." It is beautifully and colorfully printed. Delineates Manhattan up to 125th Street with a legend naming and keyed to 90 "Points of Interest." The wharf area and docks are shown and the rivers are filled with ships including the Battleship Anchorage above the Columbia Yacht Club. The Leviathan is shown moored at Dock #84. The large buildings are located with an elevation engraving in b&w except the Chase Bank buildings are shown in red overprinting. Scores of smaller buildings are named and located with a printed dot. Nice renderings of the Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queensboro bridges. The colorful map is embellished with a fancy compass rose. Folds into original pictorial paper covers "Pictorial Map of New York" with an illustration of the main Chase National Bank Building. OCLC shows no copies of this 1928 edition and only two of the 1926 edition. Scarce.

The map is fine. The covers are near mint with a light arced stain likely from a coffee cup.
