This is a particularly nice 19th century map of North Carolina with excellent detail of the transportation network, which includes completed, in-progress, and proposed railroads in addition to stage roads and steamboat routes. It includes two insets of the Gold Region and the vicinity of New Bern and Trenton, and a profile of the Dismal Swamp Canal.
