The map is graphically engraved to illustrated mountains, rivers, lakes, swamps, modern and Roman roads, fortifications, monasteries, cities and villages. The superb title cartouche commemorates the Treaty of Passarowitz (1718) when the Austrians took the region from the Ottoman Turks.
