As the publisher of this reprint states, "There are few great America carto-bibliographies and Thompson's Maps of Connecticut is one of them. 3) First published in 1918 as "A List of Atlases and Maps Applicable to the World War", this book is a compendium of American and foreign atlases compiled by the Chief of the Division of Maps at the Library of Congress. One of the few references available dealing with early 20th century maps. Royal 8vo, 282 pp. Hard bound in green cloth with silver titling on spine and cover.
