This uncommon, little German map was based on Homann's America Septentrionalis, which in turn was reduced from D'Anville's important map. It depicts the region at the end of the French and Indian War. The British Colonies now extend to the Mississippi River with the Carolinas, which include Earl Gravilles's Property, shown stretching from the Atlantic coast to beyond the Mississippi. Georgia is shown as a small sliver of South Carolina.
