Handsome German map that depicts the state of California and the large western territories of Oregon, Utah and New Mexico. Washington Territory is not named, but it is separated from Oregon by outline color. Salt Lake City is named New Jerusalem. Filled with Indian names, a few forts, and some interesting conjectural topography. The map was produced with printed color distinguishing the ocean and hand coloring outlining the territories.
