This finely engraved map of the British Isles is filled with a plethora of place names. A large inset details the Shetland, Orkney and Faroe Islands. The decorative title cartouche incorporates trade goods, military flags and canon, and the royal coat of arms. This is the third state with islands added to the west of Ireland and the cartouche engraver's signature change to Groux.
