North is oriented at the bottom of this early chart of Switzerland. The map was based on the work of Aegidius Tschudi, a historian of the Swiss Confederation. The title is engraved onto the top of an unusual three dimensional title box. Dutch text on verso.

References: Van den Broecke #115.

Condition: B+

There are some light damp stains and the top centerfold is separated 1/2" into the map, closed on verso with archival tape. The paper edges have been slightly trimmed, leaving very ample margins.
