This spectacular map is centered on Amsterdam and show the region around the Waddenzee. Filled with place names and great detail on the fractured land and waterways in this portion of Holland. Decorated with a large strapwork title cartouche, scale of miles with a divider, fancy 16-point compass rose, and the Royal coat of arms. The seas are fully engraved and decorated with sailing ships and a small fishing boat. French text on verso.

There are a few light damp stains and a short tear in the blank margins, well away from the map.
