Handsome map of the archbishopric of Salzburg and the Duchy of Carinthia. The map illustrates the mountainous terrain filled with rivers, lakes, forests and villages. The title acknowledges that the map is based on Gerard Mercator's map of the region. It is adorned with coats of arms displayed by three chubby cherubs. Visually a very striking map.

Minor fold separations, repaired with archival tape on verso, otherwise fine with dark impression on fine hand laid paper.
