This rare map of Colorado is identical to the H.R. Page issue, but does not include his copyright. The map shows great detail of the new state, particularly in the mining areas. The numerous railroads are well delineated and named including many small gauge rails related to the intense mining activity of the day. Includes counties, cities and towns, post offices, and mountains shown in hachure. The watershed is particularly well developed with scores of creeks and rivers named. Surrounded by a banknote-style decorative border.

Very nice impression and color. Some very short marginal tears at bottom adjacent to centerfold, still very good.
